Ozzi Sushi Bar Review

It’s 2:30, and after hours of shopping up and down the streets of Downtown Miami I found myself in unfamiliar territory. Walking along this random uninspiring block … I would have missed the place, but there it was! Ozzi Sushi Bar.

Definitely didn’t know what to expect but I was captivated by the setup. The concept of having boats circling in the river is amazing. Not only does it bring a vivid atmosphere to the restaurant but rely on your eyes to pick the food you want to eat. It’s certainly great for lunch when you only want to seat down and grab something to eat instantly. The place was clean, neat, the staff was friendly, and the food was tasty.

The plates are color coded and the corresponding price chart is on the wall. Plates range from $1.50-$3.50 . For sushi coinsurers, the selection may leave something to be desired. But for me… the selection was more than enough.

I had the Mango Crab Guava Roll and Maki Nutella Banana for dessert. YUM! I’ll definitely go back in the near future.

BOTTOM LINE: Give it a shot and be sure to try the dessert!

Rainy Day Fashion Tips

Add color! Don’t be scared to wear something bright and fun on a rainy day. Bad weather can be depressing, so why not go out of your way to wear something non-depressing and cute?

A cute umbrella can be an accessory. There are so many adorable and cheap umbrellas available at stores like Target, so there’s really no excuse to stick to basic black. Buy a couple in your favorite colors if you live in a really rainy area and use them to add color to your look.

A classic trench coat is always perfect for rainy weather. The trench coat is SUCH a classic & essential piece that’s perfect for all occasions and especially rainy days.

Be careful of the materials you wear in rain. I’m sure you probably know this already, but just in case… Suede is off-limits in rain because water usually ruins it, and leather that hasn’t been treated with a protectant can easily be damaged by water as well. Don’t risk ruining your clothes – go with rubber, pleather, or protectant-treated leather shoes in rain and leave your favorite suede handbag at home.

At the same time, don’t worry too much about a 100% waterproof jacket. If you plan ahead and have your umbrella on hand, your jacket won’t get wet enough for waterproofing to matter.

Go crazy when it comes to rain boots. There are so many cute rain boots out there today to fit any sense of style – they literally come in every color under the sun. Have fun and find a pair you love! Much like umbrellas, you can go completely nuts with your rain boots and no one will mind.

"No Longer Dreaming"

When I was younger, fairytales that depicted princes and princesses, castles and carriages consumed my late night thoughts. But as I matured, so did my dreams.  The castle is now a two bedroom condo in a gated community with my carriage, a silver Mitsubishi Galant, parked in the driveway. And the princess …well … if that’s what you want to call her, don’t let me stop you. But, if you’re curious, I am a Twenty "something" Fashion Designing Health Care Provider. Not exactly you’re “sit down and look cute” princess... But, don’t get it wrong, I am cute. Standing at a proud five foot seven inches with curves in all the right places, hair that plays tag with my shoulders, and sleek brown eyes, I am the object of many peoples dreams and no ones reality.  I am perfectly imperfect and a constant work in progress. A painter can’t throw paint on a canvas and expect it to appear in a gallery and a sculptor can’t make a statue with only one chip from his chisel. These things take time, but it all pays off once you get to your masterpiece. And the road to my masterpiece begins here. However, beware of the highs, lows, heartbreaks, and uncertainties that my story has to offer. And then, when you least expect it, you’ll find out you're "No Longer Dreaming"
